A large colony of Grey-headed Flying Foxes roost during the day in large trees in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney, Australia. I spent a day with my camera in the gardens and spent a couple of hours observing and photographing these massive bats. I wanted to capture the trasluscence of the bat’s wings. This shot was difficult as the sun needed to be directly behind the bat.
