St. John’s Orphanage (also known as the Goulburn Boys Orphanage) was an orphanage located in Goulburn, NSW. It housed only males, with a capacity of approximately 100 children from the ages of 5 to 16. The Goulburn Boys Orphanage was opened in 1912 and later closed in 1975.

The old building still remains, but has been vandalised and there seems to be no plan for it’s repair

oh wow, what an interesting building … Black and white fits this image perfectly!

  • thank you, it really is interesting, lots of history and stories that go with this place, and it has an air of creepiness to it.
