I was born in Perth Western Australia, and have spent my childhood growing up in various country towns throughout WA.
At the age of 13 my family moved to the Cocos Islands, where my interest in photography began after being given an old box brownie to play around with. After testing that out I saved my pocket money to buy my first “modern” camera, a little Minolta point and shoot. After two years at Cocos we moved back to the mainland and the coastal town of Albany where I began studying photography at high school and then moved onto University. I now follow my husband’s career around the state and with the advent of digital cameras I have been able to experiment without the cost factor holding me back.
We spent six years in the East Kimberley – the area inspired me so much that I have a renewed passion for capturing local events and scenery. These days we are located in the Midwest town of Kalbarri.
I am a very lazy photographer, very rarely are my images subject to any manipulation post capture. I hope you enjoy my work.
