The Greatest of Men...
“One who believes in God (the Glorified and the Exalted) and the Day of Judgement must not cause hardship and inconvenience to his neighbour; and he who believes in God (the Glorified and the Exalted) and the Day of Judgement must respect his guest; and he who believes in God (the Glorified and the Exalted) and the Day of Judgement must speak well or keep quiet”.
“Faith has over seventy branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but God, and the humblest of which is the removal of what is injurious from the road. And modesty is a branch of faith.”
“He who treads the path of knowledge, God makes him tread a path that leads to Paradise, and the angels take him under the shelter of their wings. Everything in the heaven and on the earth and in the depths of the seas pray for benediction for the man of learning. Truly, the superiority of a learned man over a mere devotee is like that of the full moon over the stars. Indeed, the learned are the heirs of the Prophets. The Prophets leave no heritage of gold or silver, their heritage is nothing but knowledge. Whoever therefore receives this heritage, his portion is indeed great”.
“Among God’s servants there are people who are neither prophets nor martyrs, whose position in relation to God will be an object of desire by the prophets and martyrs on the Day of Resurrection. . .They are people who have loved one another by reason of God’s spirit, and were giving gifts to one another without being related or having (common) property. I swear by God that their faces will be light and that they will be placed upon light, neither fearing when men fear nor grieving when men grieve.”
“Whoever desires an expansion in his sustenance and age, should keep good relations with his kith and kin.”
Today marks the remembrance of the birth of a great man—the greatest of men, in my opinion and the opinions of millions of others. He was a man who personified the message he brought and carried it with him always in his heart. This man’s life was marked by a great mission, the Call to God, and even his remembrance is a celebrations of God’s Glory and Infinite Wisdom. The pearls above were of his words, a small sample of the treasure trove of wisdom he brought to this world by God’s Will.
Have you guessed who it is?
Either way, please take the time to acquaint yourself with one of history’s greatest leaders. You would be doing yourself a disservice not to.
Here is the place to be

I thank you for your sincere invitation… but differ in ideology as to “whom” you refer to as ‘the greatest of men.’ I’m not commenting to rile you… but to thank you, again, for your sincere invitation.

I agree that the greatest declaration of one’s faith is the internal knowledge that there is no god but God, and confirmation of this great truth is demonstrated in how we treat each other. Especially when we take into consideration that two of Gods’ most evident attributes are “God is love” and “God is good”.
Therefore in light of this, it is extremely important that we begin to exhibit this faith by loving and being good one to another.
My guess is the person in reference is the prophet Muhammad. (PBUH)

I too, differ in opinion in relation to the greatest man and on faith in a god in general. But I do believe that we are sisters in the spirit of improving and enlightening the human condition here on this planet and I have respect for your beliefs, nothing but the highest regard for your opinions or your right to voice them.
And you are a fantastic wordsmith!

Of course, sisters in humanity, thank you for your respect and compliments. I was surprised and delighted to see your comment here.
