Different maybe, but I like it Fred. Good placement of colour.

Thank you very much Jim- as I have begun to explore different areas possibly a pit stop along the way-

this poisonous green color of frog skin (lol) is very intense and is opposed to the contrasting reds. for some reason the red vessel is drawing the observer’s eye to change the direction from the path to upwards…..there is nothing in the middle in this painting. For some reason if i had to chose which way to go, I’d follow the “yellow brick road” (I know it’s not yellow, but it leads one to the bright side of the painting, while other paths show dark entries). All the entrances and windows are open in here, one can freely enter but will never know what is hidden in the dark before one fights the doubts and fears and actually enters to see. Like a multitude of ways or probably subpersonalities in one microcosm. But the fact is…even if the road seems to be brighter….one never knows what is hidden behind the corner until one crosses the threshold…
this entire image looks like an allegory of the human personality. At least it is my perception of the painting. Don’t say it’s boring. It is not, however the palette is not my favourite of yours, it is still a decent work.
