dusk
tangled their bodies lay
guileless
with fascination
the planets
moved in the softly bruised shadows
she peered into and studied
his verdant eyes
alive
and caressed their silence with words
told him he was becoming her everything
his reply
spilled out of his
perfectly formed lips
so effortlessly
it was as though he’d formed it
moons ago
he said
that she was like the air when he breathed
returned silence
as breathlessly, she breathed in and out
so audible the flow and hum
so tangible the air
that their heads clocked to the left
to gaze as
their now entangled breath
orbited like tiny particles
slowly gathering
momentum with each moment
and substance
around a
planet
of
growing
love
