Abercrombie caves NSW
My wife and I went on a weekend away to get away from the big smoke. We started off in Orange and decided to do some exploring and some how ended up at these caves. they were magnificent and we had them to our selves the whole time we were in them.

The Abercrombie Caves and Reserve are situated in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, just off the main road between Bathurst and Goulburn, some 283 kilometres by road west of Sydney. The turn off to the caves is 72 km south of Bathurst and the Caves are 3km off the main road.

This was taken to show how the limestone made the water a lovely colour

What a great shot, and isn’t it great when you get to go somewhere as magnificent as this and get the place to yourself!

  • Thanks Kylie, its makes the experience very special, I guess the idea is to take time of work and go on adventures during the week
