Curiousity by Neil Ross

Abstract photo of Missianah (well, her backside at least). She’s a full ginger Tabby with oyster patterning. She couldn’t resist this opportunity: an open car, and to see her get in and out was an absolute laugh. She’s a big girl, and it was a relatively small gap with little foothold. Curiousity killed the cat? Not this time! This was just a sticky-beak. Besides, cats come fully equipped with 9 lives, so they’re better prepared than we are to cope with life’s little adventures. (Abstract/Watercolours effect).

Photo taken with Canon IXUS 80 IS and edited with Lightzone. SIMPLICITY is my niche!

Original Image:

abstract, amateur, before after, car, cats, curiousity, felines, missianah, tabby, watercolours effect

I love anything that is unusual, unique, or just plain odd, and that’s the sort of image I try to capture. I’m so far from being the world’s best photographer it’s not funny, but I do have the photographer’s ‘eye’ and am more than proficient at capturing the images I see in my world. Thanks for taking the time to view my portfolio. Feel free to leave a message and say G’day.

brilliant. lovely idea, reminds me a bit of a predator cat!

  • Cheers mate. She’s a predator all right… on food stuffs people leave lying around. Stuff in the car is her personal favourite. It’s not the first time she’s bolted off with a maccas wrapper :-)

Ooooooh….love the smooth, glossy look of it!!! That’s the look that digital artists pray for!!! I have laid offerings at the feet of the almighty Diggy God myself in hopes of that one!! Great colors and transformation!!! Cool, cool, cool!!!

  • WOW… digital artist can go eat their hearts out… and I did this in basic old Lightzone. That’s an awesome comment Deb. Thanks for that. Gives me a bit of confidence :-)

    Fantastic abstract!
V-simple & great neon looking colors!

  • Thanks Lacey. I did three in this style. Most don’t realise this is my cats arse until they see the original. The joke’s on them hehe :-)
