I’m an Aussie guy, originally from Sydney, but now residing in Brisbane. I’ve always had a love of photography, but don’t claim to be anything other than an amateur.
In the latter part of 2009 I was diagnosed with Autonomic Seizures (Epilepsy), and I’ve written a couple of stories that will give you an insight into this condition. These can be found in my gallery entitled Mental Illness. All that aside, I’m a spiritual man, I love nature, and I love my cats; they’re all wonderful meditations. Along with photography, these things plus my family and friends, have kept me sane and are a great comfort, hopefully moving me closer to a full recovery. Only time will tell.
Like my life, my artwork is honest and simple. I don’t use sophisticated editing programs or an expensive DSLR, but I’m still creating something unique, albeit simple, and that’s pretty much my style anyway. SIMPLICITY IS MY NICHE! My photos have been edited with LIGHTZONE, a basic user-friendly system which I have come to love. We are currently exploring each others potential and limitations. I also love lots of vibrant COLOUR. I just can’t help myself but hey, life should be colourful don’t you think?
I’m not here to compete with anyone, but am simply striving to achieve my own ‘personal best’, expressing my vision and passion in my own creative way. Am I any good? Who knows, but ultimately, who cares? It certainly won’t be for the lack of trying.
I’m so happy to have found this site’ and honour the talent of all those here. You’re all so very inspirational :D
