This shot was taken on an SLR camera using real black & white film. Yes, long the stuff of museums, I know! It was taken as a part of a series of shots I did recently for my black & white darkroom course that I call ‘Castaways’. I took all the shots in the series on beautiful Bells Beach, Victoria, Australia using Ilford Delta 100 ISO Professional Black & White film and developed all the shots, myself, in my home ‘lab’. All shots, here, are scanned directly from my self-developed negatives. Models: Aravis & Angela.
Oh… you might notice a few colour shots featuring the same location and models. That’s because there was already a colour film in the camera I had to ‘use up’ first. Isn’t film quaint?… and… errr… slightly irritating?!! LOL.
