The title ‘A gift from Alex’ is inspired by the following story -
My daughter Alex (2 and a half) and I spent the morning painting. While we were laying our pieces out to dry she turned to me and said “I love your paintings Mama”. She made my day (over and over again). How I love her kind soul!
Although I painted this for her bedroom, the real gift was from her! She painted these for me.

naomi Wow this is absolutley incredible well done. I love the story, that is the gift. My 5yr old daughter paints with me as well and has said I love you daddy… I no that gift it is the most precious on earth. I have her paintings on my walls as they are my favorites.

She loves to do self portraits and her, mommy, and daddy she wishes my ex and I were together again (so sad) But her work is really sweet. I once put one of her paintings up in an art show I was in and put priceless on the tag :) She was estatic that her painting was on the wall…and so was I.
