Naomi O'Connor

I love to draw and paint. I’m not yet at a place where I can define my style. I paint or draw in a way to represent the idea I set out with in my head. I admire many artists, but in particular members of The Angry Penguins – John Perceval, Arthur Boyd, Sidney Nolan, Albert Tucker and Joy Hester. I have had a love of German Expressionism for a long time. The works of Charles Blackman and John Brack still amaze me.

I’m a Secondary Teacher by day and an artist by night.
