Ok folks on my watchlist – you all know this lovely lady – she is giving constantly, and always bringing other artists to the fore with her promotions – I don’t get to come on here as often as I would like, and what time I do get, is usually taken up on working in groups etc. – this means that I often miss work as and when it is posted.
This ladies portfolio is full of beautiful gems, and I thought it was high time that she was given a little exposure all of her own – and so, here are my top ten favorites of her work [in no particular order].
So come on down Hilary and take some of the glory for a change.
Little Bridge At Low Barnes Nature Reserve
I love this shot – its nature at its finest. All those beautiful trees give lots of depth and the bridge is perfectly placed within the shot. It leads the eye beautifully.
Cape Of Good Hope
What a wonderful shot this is. Its stunning – right from the beautiful aqua and turquoise water in the foreground, to the thundery skies and rolling clouds at the back. There is a lot more to this shot than first meets the eye. Have a good look at it – it will inspire you.
Scotland Near Fort Augustsus
Another beautiful image here. The wonderful colours and detail of the flowers in the fore, leading through the peace and tranquility of the loch, then WOW – that awesome backdrop – this is an immense shot.
Skiddaw
This one just takes my breath away – what can I say about this photograph – Well, WOW pretty much sums it up
Just Good Friends Watching The World go By
This shot is just priceless – its not just a cute shot, its full of detail and beautiful colour. I love how you have made the back of two little critters into such an interesting and pleasing image Hilary. One can feel the expression in their faces without even seeing them. Its awesome.
Bluebell Wood
This is a beautiful image – I love Bluebells – they are a sign of summer and I love how they give a wonderful blanket of colour like they do in this shot. The flash of sunlight coming in through the trees illuminates the wood perfectly. This is a gem!
Witton Castle Lake
Another fine image here Hilary, with beautiful lighting and stunning reflections.
The Deer House
The lines in this are incredible. I am not one for architecture shots, but this one is fantastic. The shadowing of the trees against the walls on the right is superb.
Rock In The Sea
Now this is one that is really special – it is so full of texture and dancing light. This is a superb shot hilary.
Autumn Trees
The colours here are just so alive and vibrant. The people in the shot make it very interesting and the whole image is just such a happy image – I love this one.

Being in the USA – I am always AT LEAST 5 hours behind all of my friends and sometimes as much as a DAY behind with my Aussie friends and friends from other countries.

Excellent Julie, and of course you are quite correct. Hilary puts so much effort in for the rest of the RB community that I’m sure she is overlooked. As we all know, Hilary loves to share her everday things with us all, but every now and then, she drops in an absolute gem. Thanks for reminding us, and for collecting your set of Hirary’s best works. Some of those are my favourites from Hilary as well, but there are many others worthy of mention. Do take the time to have a browes through her portfolio, as Julie will confirm, you will not be dissapointed.
