Hi Folks
Its me again :)
Just letting you all know – I need some time out!
I need to figure some things out about what I want from this site at the moment. I think I may have lost sight of what I came here for along the way.
Questions i need to ponder
Do i want to be a forum host? What implications does that carry for me and others who see me?
Do I want to host groups? Is the time it takes, taking away from other things which are so important?
Do I want a Red Bubble after my name? Does it make me useful, or biased?
Lots of things to think about for me at the moment, and some hard decisions to make – I love what I do, and I hate it at the same time – hence – the time out.

have a nice break Julie….. maybe just sit in the garden and read a book…... bust your paints out and do some painting ….... sometimes you just have to do other things….....but come back soon…....:)

I certainly agree with you on the group host aspect Julie. Although I have approved submissions into the group, I have not bothered with avatar changes, featuring work or artists etc, as I feel that it was distracting me and me learning my art on here. Hope this makes sense. x

Enjoy your break Jul – hope you come back feeling refreshed. I think it is good to take a break … i am enjoying redbubble so much more now that i am not here all the time. It is a wonderful place but can sometimes get a bit overwhelming and then you realise that you have a beautiful life with and without it :) Hope that makes sense. Take care xx

You mentioned the red bubble after your name. I always thought that RB should make a distinction from RB staff/employees and RB volunteers (artists and customers).

Julie…. my thoughts are….. if you need a break from this, then you should let some of it go. Remove yourself from what is taking you away. I support you 100%, in whatever you decide.

Ok we don’t know each other but I will express my opinion for you. Your are the only one with the red bubble after your name that I have seen doing what all the other people seem to enjoy. I am a group host also and it does take time but since I am retired I am not a good judge for you on this issue. There is so much more to redbubble than most of us use or even know about, so if a real person like you stops being the major help that you are to so many then where does the help come from? I know you don’t owe any of us anything but you are valued.
