Hi Julie, this is the first time I peak at your art… and I’m finding pieces that I love. This one has catched my eye. the expression you captured in these two spider monkeys is nearly human.. but to me far purer than many of us have. Not just that the photograph it’s beautiful as one, I really like their eyes.

Far different from the apes on Gibralter (ta for the comment!), these guys are totally amazing. I really like the effect you did with this and with Howler, but especially here the composition is awesome. Your selective blurring leaving the facial features in focus and with subtle coloring works for me, and I hope to see you work this style more and post the results. Nice work!
