After seeing one of this artists digital paintings, I just knew I had to try and crate a photomontage version of it, making some changes to it as well to make it my own.

    Thank you Bianca, I wondered of you would notice the fox, as I know how much you love them. I played for ages with ideas on which animal to place there. In the end I decided that the beauty of the fox was the most apt creature to match with Kellie’s beauty.

    Julie…I noticed the fox….and i was in heaven to see it….There is another fox den…but the way it is…i can get good shot because its shaded area and no light works..i tried and tried….why i am bringing this up is because its a little kitten that is cross between red fox and black fox…well there is no black foes in wilderness of grand tetons….what happen someone was raising foxes on a farm domesticaly in vicinityu and released them into wilderness….and that little baby is gorgeous…its like black and silver….AMAZING EYES…i am dying to get good shot…but i cant…its not possible..i love foxes they are so dear to me..

    Thanks Geoff, Wow, what a compliment. The forest light was there in the stock photograph to begin with, so I have to say that the credit goes to Mailsparky of sxc. All I did was emphasise it with some dodge, painting and layer blending. Kellie’s conribution is simply outstanding, and her photograph makes this image work.

    thanks Henk, ahhhh the colours!, Now that is something which had me going for quite a while while creating this. I wanted a rich earth feel, but didnt want to go as far as brown. I tried lots of different hues, including one in a deep red, but this one did if for me.

    Thank you Kimberley – I really wanted to get a porcelain, 3D effect on Kellie on this, but also to keep it looking real. I thought of a few options, like blur, layer blending or perhaps even looking for a suitable filter, but in the end, I decided that painting her with low opcaity fine brushes would be the best. It was pain staking and slow, but well worth it for the result.
