Kind of dark mood….looks like winter…..no blue sky…......no green trees….dormant grass. I think the processing would be perfect if this were a summer original. Great color and contrast on the stonework. Green trees…..partly cloudy sky…..some blue…... would make it perfect!...... IMO.

Beautiful house, excellent image. It almost looks like a vintage Christmas card – just need some tastefull decorations. The muted tones are great.

Great image! I think the level of processing really adds to the spooky mood of it. Makes me expect there to be a weird and disturbing family living there, or a lone serial killer! Would make a great story setting!

Thank you Jim!!!!.... I use Lightroom for most of my editing…. I swear by Lightroom for getting just the right color that I have in mind. Then I used photoshop and added a bit of an afternoon glow and used the history brush on the house.

This is the most fabulous house – I saw a similar one in (Georgetown) Texas a few years ago – but this one is much bigger – certainly is a dream house, Love the treatment also.

When we were designing our house, this was one of the styles that I really liked, with the turreted tower and the wrap around porch. We ended up with something completely different!

This is just wonderful.

I love this one! Very well presented: nice composed shot, well framed by the stone entryway; the house itself is amazing – good focus, nice warm colors and just perfect lighting to accent all the fine details – I see this as a nice Autumn scene. well done!

wow! what a gorgeous dream house! Mine too, now :) have you ever seen the inside? I would dearly love to see the inside; I’ll bet there are a fair amount of ghosts in that house; how old is the house? I love the effects you did to it. When I first looked at this photo it reminded me of some X-MAS cards I send out each year; old homes are so fantastically homey looking, especially when there is snow!

Nancy – you are so lucky to just be able to look at this house from your best friends house! Is here house also ‘almost’ as grand? What a wonderful neighborhood to live in! Listen…when and if you ever get to see the inside, may I come too??
