Achrafieh, Beirut, Lebanon

Artist's Description

Original Artwork 40×30cm Watercolor on Canson Coldpress 300g

Bechara Church is a Greek Orthodox Church in the heart of Beirut, just around the corner from my house. The arabic name "Bechara " means The Annunciation or Good News. I always look up at its white dome to see how the light plays off it at different times of day. The inside of the church is even more breathtaking, a true splendor with its icons, chandaliers and carpets. This painting was a gift to the church.
