Not only does the flower drape gracefully while still showing its upper petal strengthand fiber, it’s the lighting that does this beauiful piece justice. Magnificent!
this is fantastic,i am looking for this violet flower, did you know that it is the symbol of football team, here in firenze..called fiorentina viola…viola means violet, thanxs fro sharing it to us…specially to me lol!
Thanks for the nice comment, Jerry. It is an Iris. It was from my garden. I did not realize that about the football team. But I’m glad to hear about it!
to add more, the fiorentina football team uniform is a violet color ,you can check it out by searching fiorentina football team in web! really a nice shot,i have a tatto on the right arm of this flower! lol
Roka, this was not one single treatment. It was done several years ago, so I can’t remember how I did it! But I know it was multiple tools from my Paint Shop Pro, and a lot of ‘tweaking.’ The original photo was nice, but quite different from this.
Thanks for asking….and thank you for all the lovely, wonderful comments on so many of my pictures. You have clearly made my day! I’ll be walking proud today because of you.
