It’s a beautiful shot Nancy. Bearded Iris are difficult flowers to shoot as they don’t have a ‘centre’ to focus on for macro. You have taken the main feature of the flower and achieved a visually stunning image. I’m glad you posted it.:)

Ahhhhhh… I like it.. I practiced on this flower alot this weekend and it was not so easy. I had some difficulty in decideing what the focal should be to show its personality,, There was so much to observe on this Bearded Iris.. Yours is terrific really. Imho.. LJM

Actually, Kenny, since I posted this, I have taken some much better Iris close-ups. I thought about replacing this with a better one, but I did that another time and someone asked me what happened to the one they Favorited. So…I’m sort of stuck with this one.
