Bridalveil Falls in the background and the Merced River in the foreground. There is a bear and her two cubs in the wooded area but they are too far too see with the lense I had.

Stunning Nancy!! so gorgeous out there – we don’t even have a hill where I live.

  • :), I would go crazy without mountains Kate. I’m lucky this is only about 3 hours away. And my mountains are in my backyard….hopefully you’ll get to make your trip out here soon. :)
    Thanks

So beautiful Nancy…So well captured…And not a bear in sight! liz

  • LOL…funny you said that Liz, there was a mama and two cubs on the other side of the river. We coudl see them with the binoc’s but couldn’t zoom in far enough to get a shot. I’ve seen enough bears for now…LOL..Thanks Liz. :)

Huh, looks like a was in the very same spot in May of 1994. I haven’t uploaded my picutre here yet, though. The driftwood is a bit different and your trees have grown a little taller.
Yosemite is probably the most beautiful NP.

    Very nice capture.

  • Thanks so much Adrian…..too bad time won’t just stand still. :)
