Nancy!! He is beautiful and I love this shot of him. I can hardly get my yellow lab in the water… I know.. she isn’t normal! lol

LOL…he loves the water, but at first he didn’t. We wondered? because our first lab, passed at 14, loved the water. Now Bubba jumps off the boat in the middle of the lake. When he was little my son was a teenager and took him to the park daily, teaching him to climb ladders, slide down slides, and apparently climb the ladder to get back in the boat. :).. He’s such fun! :)

Thanks Cat. He’s a big softy! We had a black lab, Buddy, for 14 years, sadly he died of cancer in 1998, then in 1999 Bubba came into our lives. :)

Being a lover of labs, I just had to comment. He’s gorgeous! I too have lost my labs over the rainbow bridge. One yellow-Loppy (beacuse he had a lopsided ear) and my black lab Max.

Aww, I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s so hard isn’t it? Bubba went swimming for about 3 hours yesterday. He swims upstream and ‘surfs’ the current down again. :)

Yes it was very hard. You ought to get some photos of Bubba swimming upstream or surfing.

LOL…that’s just Bubba; he was waiting for the stick I had in my hand so he was totally focused, he had a blast, as usual, he love’s swimming here…thanks so much! yep, it is a stream, although it’s called a river, if one were to Kayak down, you’d have to drag/carry most of the way. :)

He’s wonderful! And this is just the expression of my “Olga” whenever I try to get her out of the water. She’s a border collie -maybe labby mix and she definitely loves water too.
