I’m not sure why but I for some reason I like to go snapping away in old cemetery’s. I think about what the life was like back then, and what these souls indured. It’s strange I’m sure but I come up with stories in my mind about what life might have brought their way.

    I’ve looked at this on larger image and it is quite sad Nancy, This was in 1870 – he was 38 years old and also in the grave are 2 infant sons John and Francis. I wonder what the story here was??

    I wonder, so sad that a lot of people around this area passed of cholora (I know I spelt that wrong) around that period. There is a cemetery downtown Sacramento, it’s so sad, there are so many families; all passing away within months of each other, and a lot of children…makes me want to write but it’s sad.

    I love to do the same. I get a very peaceful, but sometimes sad feeling to be there….but I always find beauty & love.
