'RedBubble' TV ? by Nancy Ames

Posted on April 19, 2008

While trying very hard to watch TV this morning, it occurs to me – not for the first time – that what I really, really want to watch is something like redbubble, a tasty combo of slowly changing visual art, with musical accompaniment, and possibly intermixed with short performances of quick-study poetry and prose, etc. There would have to be a high standard of artistic values and acknowledgement of the artists, of course.

So is anybody doing anything like that and what do you think?

I have no idea where you live but here in the US I currently get a channel called Ovation that does a whole lot of arts, music, and cultural programming. I recently watched a whole series of shows on the life and times of Warhol and they have shows that feature different photographers all the time.

Thanks, deleriousgirl – that’s exactly the sort of information I’m looking for. I live in western Canada – Calgary.
