    Jared, you’re welcome, and I’ve been doing this with my waterfall shots for the Waterfalls Group, so people can get some idea of how to achieve a similar result.

    James, yes the 5D is a nice bit of kit, and the 24-105 is probably the best zoom lens I’ve used, it’s VERY sharp and the contrast it produces is outstanding….

    Wow Andrew this is amazing. This is absolutely perfect. The exposure the detail. Unreal.
    The detail and description is well done. I found out in a class that I am taking on Friday’s that a Polarizing filter is the key and most important in these types of shots. I never even thought to do that. I was just using a UV filter. Great work!!

    Not another waterfall… But I actually like this one, good shot. And good camera technique. Please explain the use of the mirror lock-up function – is it specific for long exposures or to reduce blur due to camera vibration when the mirror moves…???
