This is utterly freaking sensational!!! Happy New Year Boz :))

At least you werent part of the 10,000 strong mosh pit outside central station (neither was I, we were part of a much smaller crowd-2- at Leura). Great shot anyway, dont worry about the boats, they give a point of reference and a bit of difference to the run of the mill fireworks shots you often see.

However, nothing beats being directly underneath them when they go off whoa ha.

Sydney Harbour must be one of the most beautiful in the world. I drove over the bridge yesterday and sailed under it the day before, pitty I couldn’t hang around for the fireworks. This is spectacular Bozzy, all the best to you and family for the new year. x

Sooopoib, as they say in NY! I’ve never had a good go at fireworks…..is it difficult….I had thought about using bulbsetting and covering the lens up with a bit of black card and lifting it at the appropriate moment…..

Thanks for that Boz….....Roll on November 5th LOL….I shall have a go then…...as for the 5D mkII…..its the stuff of dreams…LOL…I will have to sell a few more prints first…....make that a few hundred prints LOL.

you had to use the bulb setting on this to bring in this much light, excellent timing
