Three Sisters

Ok, ok, I know, it’s been photographed a million times before and is probably the most iconic of all Blue Mountains landmarks, but I’ve resisted shooting it until now.
I’ve been waiting for a special day and yesterday morning was the best I’ve seen it for a while what with the layers of cloud and the sun peeping through…......

Three Sisters belongs to the following groups:

Australian Landmarks and Icons, Black and White Photography, HDR Photography and Landscape Photography

  • Loredana Crupi

    Loredana Crupi, 12 months ago

Black & White is perfect. Has a surreal effect but then climbing that high to get the shot would in itself be surreal for me!!! Definitely worth it though. Quite breathtaking!!

  • Kim Roper

    Kim Roper, 12 months ago

Andrew, I think your choice of B&W for this image was a very good one. The processing adds more depth and detail to the whole image which is absolutely stunning! :-D

Congratulations on homepage location – Is that appropriate? I am knew to the homepage thing…so ignore if I am wrong. :-(

  • Andrew Bosman

    Andrew Bosman, 12 months ago

Kim, the homepage thing is luck of the draw. The bubble gods select images they like to go on the homepage and the “blue” tag is because I tagged it “Blue Mountains” and the tagging sytem only sees individual words. :-)
    Hope that made sense!

  • Kim Roper

    Kim Roper, 12 months ago
