This is a scan of my very first Cyanotype – Using a sheet from a Crimson & Blake watercolour pad (“180gsm Acid free”). The negative was made from a scanned contact-sheet frame from my Lubitel 166B.
Actual image is about 7 inches square. Unfortunately the paper had a fairly sizeable curl on it and so the neg wasn’t entirely flat – so there are some fuzzy areas ;-)
Anyway. This was about 30 minutes exposure in pretty bright sunlight, I wonder if it should have had more (or less?) to give a little more contrast. Of course the textured paper won’t be helping!
