My Favorite Words

Yes, Yes, I know this is the laziest shirt I’ve ever done but I love these words so much!!! Take “Fruit Cup” for example. I can literally say this word repeatedly for half an hour. It makes me giggle and the more I say it, the harder it is to say right (I mean, for chrissakes, how grammatically correct is it to put an “R” after an “F”) and then I get into this whole introspective analysis of how I, as a child, was able to mimic my mother making this peculiar sound and that evolves into the study of the words following such as “Noodle” (Noooooooooodle) (This can also be replicated upon the word “Strudel”(Strooooooooodle), then I spontaneously combust from the excessive propulsion of the protons and neutrons residing in my understimulated cranium.

Yes, today has been a rough day at work.

fruitcup is great. sort of the antithesis of grapeshot.

    what would jung say?

the over all character is recptive. in four of the five words we are finding receptive qualities or associations- the cup in fruitcup is speaking for itself, one would assume early noodle contact was made with ‘pot noodle’- pot, like cup, being a receptacle, albeit a smokable one. ‘drunk’ is the participle of ‘drink’ which in itself is a noun that comes in a cup. or a glass. or even a bottle. or indeed, any sort of recepticle. though at first sight ping-pong attempts to throw the trend, it is a low-contact sport, the successful playing of which inevitably involves the act of receiving, follwing the act of serving, naturally. the last on the list, ‘letterbox’, in this ‘receptive context’, is self explanatory.

my analysis concludes that this lady is not margeret thatcher, and if one asked her out to a reasonably priced restaurant with pleasant decor and a good reputation for fruit cup, one owuld have a chance of between 68 and 74 percent chance of positive answer, depending on the weather.

Why thank you m’Dear. I spent a good 7 & 1/2 hours reciting them last night. But that may have been largely due to the gin.
