SUCCESS OF AN ART EXHIBITION IN A CATCH 22 SITUATION
In Genoa, is very difficult.
Artists here very often are modest and arrogant.
The critics as professionals to the service of their client artist do not provide a service to the community.
You have few daily paper with an “art page” to cover minor events.
The public is not keen to visit galleries.
The galleries are getting fewer and fewer.
This is a catch 22 situation.
Considering the above I have been very happy having received among many “beautiful’s” and “thankyou’s” praising words a comment from a lady that introducing herself said to me with tears in her eyes: “Thank you, I leave this exhibition full of joy for what I saw… this visit made a lot of good to my soul, Thank You”.

Oh, Lorenzo, this is so beautiful. Thank you for shearing this great experience with us all.
Tears in eyes? I believe this is the greates reward an artist can get.
Thank You Mary,
I am still surprised, speachless and suspicious.
I start to think it could have been the effect of the vernissage’s wines.

It does all sound rather dismal apart from that lovely lady! I do hope your exhibition is a great success despite all these setbacks. You are a truly great artist, and deserve to be recognised. I’m sure many of your ‘Bubble’ admirers would have had a similar reaction to that lady had they been able to visit your exhibition. I know I would have! XO
Thank you Lynda,
….and I would be honoured to host my “Bubble” friends with bubbling drinks

Congratulations for your success in exhibition Lorenzo,!!!!!
Wonderful experience Lorenzo and like you it’s been the individuals who have moved me, not the masses.
