"Stories to tell" Exhibition
Hello Everyone!
Just letting you all know that in a couple of weeks I will be holding an exhibition of work with my good buddies Rhiannon Mowat (www.redbubble.com/people/piecesofcolour) and Alisha Ball
It starts on the 25th May, and runs to the 14th June. The opening night is on Thursday the 28th May so please if you are in Melbourne, come along!
It’s being held at the lovely Gasworks Arts Park, in the Angela Robarts-Bird Gallery which if you know the area already, is situated right next the cafe.
Lots of lovely new work revolving around the themes of fairytales, myths and folktales

Hey there! my partner and I checked out your exhibition yesterday, it was so beautiful and detailed. I especially like the the fire king one with the white frame. And adlets daughters, oh I just liked all of them! If I wasn’t so broke I’d love to buy one… one day I will!

Hey Danielle! Thanks for letting me know you went down there, it’s lovely to know people are getting down there and seeing it :
) And thanks for your awesome comments, those two pieces are my favourites too :)And don’t worry we all have those horrid moments and it can be hard to get back that spark and believe in your work. But let me tell you that your work IS beautiful and special and unique and don’t let yourself tell you anything else!

Thanks Nadia, its nice to have some positive reinforcement about my work. Its hard to have perspective and be motivated when the artistic path you’ve chosen is not paying the bills!
But when I see artwork like yours I find it very moving and inspiring. It helps me to keep faith! I’m looking forward to adding your books to my picture book collection! xx
