I live in Australia in the North West area called the Kimberley – it’s where the movie AUSTRALIA was filmed.

I studied photography and dark room techniques in my Higher School Certificate; bit different now. I’ve always taken photos and drawn. About four years ago I started doing underwater photography and like to combine it with computer design and painting. Did a bit of art at TAFE but mostly experiment with acrylics, inks, ocres, pva and bodies in my studio. Love the human body and combining the person and the sea.

I manage to sell some stuff at local galleries and cafes and have a studio at Cable Beach. I sell pieces such as the boab trees photos and paintings as well as making sculptures on canvas using found objects and wire.

I love making sculptures such as my “Spotty” which is wire and cement mosaic with hand made, hand painted and fired clay tiles.

Ainslie Roberts (d) is an influence (though you couldn’t tell!): he painted hundreds of amazing pieces reflecting Aboriginal dreamtime.
