Nursery Crimes Pt. 1
Part one of the Nursery Crime saga
Once upon a midnight dreary,
Or so goes the criminologist theory.
Someone did, surreptitiously creep,
into the flock of Miss Bo Peep.
And whilst the young girl did slumber,
Set about decreasing the number
Of the young girls fleecy charges.
‘til this day there’ve been no changes
Brought against the perpetrator of this rhyme
The mastermind of the nursery crimes.
The second case that we approached,
Is how Humpty Dumpty ended up poached.
How he went from sat on a wall,
To accidentally taking a fall
King’s Men took the investigation no further,
Accidental, or was it murder.
Deemed it death by misadventure,
No one present dared to venture.
Theories spoke in voices hushed,
Did he fall or was he pushed?
To make this initial chapter complete,
The final strand in a web of deceit.
Ms Muffet, arachnophobe of some repute
Drawn into a turf dispute.
Drove the poor girl to tears,
The eight legged sum of all her fears.
Fingers pointed, accusations thrown
A single fact vital fact is known,
Throughout the whole sordid fare
No one ever suspects The Bear!
