Eternally Wedded

I spoke of love in childhood innocense as something I wanted for myself
What did I know?
I saw it in soft glow backed by soothing strings
Longing gazes and fantsy sparkling things
What did I know?
I was but a child searching for what made me smile like that beautiful woman on T.V.
What did I know?
Years later, I learned that I didn’t know
When love became tangible
That’s when it died
And nobody cried at the killing of it
Nobody acknowledged its rise
And that its alive
Nor do they realize the truths that are hidden in it
Now that im older and actively seeking the deepest kind of love
I know to keep my affections only on the things of the above
Then one day, im going to reach my eyes above the cries
And see my love appear as if He fell straight from the sky
And I will present my hand eternally to He that will know my soul
I will be immortal
I will be intangible
I spoke of love in a childhood innocense that now has blossomed into truth
The ignorance of my youth is something I no longer persue
I now sit and pray and ponder upon the mysteries of life
And I cant wait til one day He makes me His
Not lawfully
But enternally wedded wife
