I veil my heart with a mourner’s cloth, I dressed it in black over the death of meaning, the death of reason, the death of understanding! There are no tears because their acquaintence has not been met. Not one soul misses them because the dead are not known. But, they have been ressurected in the heart of talent. I seek to meet them through my God and I want to share these entities with the world! Im a little over protective of the three, I keep their memories hidden deep within for fear they wont be appreciated. We walk as zombies among false theories and prophets and we lable them genius because we didn’t think of it first or we didn’t think first whichever came first, the bottomline is, we repeat their lyrics hoping somebody will hear us avoiding the truth just to be marketable. The soul is in debt but the pockets are empty too, we will work to fill those first because we don’t want to change what looks like it works! I don’t want to heal what people don’t know hurts! I will play along, turn up the song and pretend to feel whats never been real so I wont be alone! Until I looked around and saw not my best friends, Meaning, Reason, and Understanding—I saw no truth! And, I was alone! I find myself in constant thirst! It has yet to be quenched! And, I feel like nobody cares as long as they are singing along! As longs as they are singing a song everybody knows! Everything else will fall into place! The beginning of pride is the fall of faith! The beginning of pride is the fall of faith! And, that is what killed my three best friends and nobody mourns their absence, its evident in how we live our lives, in the tears we cry, how we serve our God, and how we raise our kids! Ashes to ashes and dust to dust…But, it doesn’t end that way! Weve got to start wanting more! Not even out of life but ourselves! We need to seek the reason God formed us to exist! Why He saved us to begin with! We need to begin to care about why it is we are here! That is the bottom line! Care aobut why you exist! So that we can do so in harmony! Those are the lyrics we need to sing! Turn it up!
