There are still just a few beaches along North Carolina’s coastline where the only structures can be seen at a great distance. I recall as a young teenage surfer discovering many deserted stretches of coastline. Sadly enought those are days gone by.

Nice one Jim – come over here some time – there are plenty of beaches with nothing for miles. Pretty scary for swimming or surfing though!
Terri if you only knew how bad I have wanted to visit your country. We won’t call it impossible, but the odds are probably against it. I would love to see some long stretches of coastline uneffected by man.

Yea, deserted stretches of coast line are a real luxury these days… and THESE clouds are something to be proud of Jim!

We get the occassional shark attack on a swimmer, but truthfully they are very few and far between. Thanks Norah.

I love boats as well Angie. Today I enjoy looking at them. Over the years I’ve owned several, and as the old joke goes, " A boat is an object that creates a hole in the water in which one may pour their money." Only it’s no joke!
