14″×11″ Acrylic painting on stretched canvas

No, if you thought Isabel was a dog, she’ happens to be one of my daughter-in-laws. She is married to my son Jim and they are the owners on these two characters pictured in the painting.

Buy it, I’m already well into my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments. (Well….the good ones anyway.)

Wow, Jim, this is just wonderful. Is it a Christmas gift? If so, I’m sure it’ll be deeply cherished….you know how we humans get attached to our furr-babies.

  • You’re a smart lady Marsha, yeah, this will be part of Isabel’s Christmas. Thanks dear friend.

Love these two Jim particularly the white one. Must paint my dogs one day!

  • Thanks Ian. Lola the older white dog is a calm gentle dog. The other is a new dog, a puppy, and like most puppies he’s all over the place just wanting to play.

lucky owners… what an adorable pair Jim…and what a special gift..they will be overjoyed for sure!

  • Thanks Linda. The painting is currently sitting on the fireplace hearth, which is where I put each new work to review and decide if I’m really finished with it. Not trying to sound snobby about it, but it looks so much better in person than it’s online counterpart. Seems to have more depth in the original.
