This is really kind of a tribute to places like this, that for some reason, seem to be disappearing. I guess the latest generation can’t put that “media device” down long enough to hold a fishing rod…… their loss.
Buy it, I’m already in my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments.

There’s that boat again brah’….I think it’s calling us….but I really don’t fish much…I usually just catch a cold…it’s all about the company…..
And yes I agree…those media devises seem to rule…

There isn’t? … well … I’m not working this weekend. So, I might make a run up that way, lol! Nice work Jim, really like the sky. It gives the painting a nice mood. Yeah, I know what you mean. Tomorrow, Holly and I will be going to a super-Kroger. It opened this week on what was a nice hay field. Out with the countryside… in with electric power doors. Oh well, at least we know what we had. And it was good! Like you said, their loss.

Peaceful places in Canada’s north look just like this..camps they call them…you get to them through portages carrying your boat on your head….great work Jim…
I know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but I would love to spend a couple of days in just such a place. Of course Barb’s idea of roughing it is when the hotel doesn’t have a good restaurant. LOL
