Uncle Charles' Gazebo by Jim Phillips
Clear

14″×11″ canvas board using WN Galleria acrylic paints.

Another of my Mississippi visit paintings.

Buy it, I’m already well into my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments. (Well….the good ones anyway.)

another winner brah’…………especially the shadowing ………..we have talked about how shadows make the paintings and you did these perfectly……..
great to have memories on canvas than glossy photos…………..
I also really like the leaves on the trees…………

  • Super comment kj. Thanks brah’. We having a bit of the same weather, just not to the extremes you are. Thunderstorms every afternoon with super high humidity. It’s hard to stay in the pool when you feel like lightning could strike any minute, even when it’s not raining.
