This painting proved to be one of the more challenging works I’ve done in a long time. As beautiful as the yellow lillies were what really caught my eye and what I’ve made the focal point of the painting were two Birch trees and the fantastic colours provided by the peeling bark.

Buy it, I’m already well into my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments. (Well….the good ones anyway.)

Excellent rendering focusing on the peeling bark of the two birch trees, not to mention the yellow lillies. Very nice overall tonality to this piece of art..
