11″×14 Acrylic on canvas board
Last week after one of my current classes came to a close, one of my students, who had been using a canvas board for her paint palette, asked if I wanted the canvas to clean and use at a later time. After I got it home, I began looking at how beautiful the paint patterns were and decided to do something more creative than just clean it. I thought it made an excellent backdrop for an interesting self portrait.
Buy it, I’m already in my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments.
