Original 20″×16″ Winsor Newton paints on Fabriano paper
Commissioned work by the Chaplain’s at Camp Lejeune for a visiting quest speaker. Permission granted to post online as they may obtain prints at a later time.
Buy it, I’m already in my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments.

What a wondeful piece of commissioned work. They must’ve been thrilled with this. The whole thing is masterful, but I really, really like the way you rendered the tree out front. I wish so much I could learn to paint a tree without using a sponge to do it. This way looks sooooo much better.
Just dapping instead of sponging, Marsha. Slower process, but I like the end results better than sponging, although I still sponge some of the scrubs occassionally. Thanks.
