At the Vineyard by Jim Phillips

Photographic Prints

Available to buy on…

gouache colors on Fabriano paper

From memory of a visit to a local vineyard several years ago.

Buy it, I’m already well into my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments. (Well….the good ones anyway.)

Oh, just what the doctor ordered. Okay Jim, I am ready to sit in the shade, have a glass of wine and enjoy the soothing view. Oh this is wonderful!

  • You’re so sweet to say that, we both know you’d be the DD in the group. lol Thanks a million times Carolyn, I just love your comments.

  • We’re all like that Hidemi. I can think of a 100 places I’ve visited that would have make excellent paintings and I didn’t get the first sketch or photo of them. Thanks my friend.

Ooh, nice … you got a good memory.

  • You and I both know, my memory may have enhanced the scene just a bit. lol It’s more of how I would like to remember this place rather than how it actually looks. Thanks Ginny.

I love the pattern of those black chairs – very daring – nice contrast with the rest of the picture.

  • These were modeled after some chairs I own except mine are that wrought iron green color. Thought the black would give some needed contrast to this painting.
