This is the fourth and final gouache floral in this series.

Buy it, I’m already well into my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments. (Well….the good ones anyway.)

Absolutely beautiful! Once again a fine mixture of warm and cool colours, a fantastic composition and beautiful painting skills. A really stunning example of a great watercolour.

  • I couldn’t ask for a nicer comment Lynda, thank you very much.

This is a great composition Jim! What I find really impessive is the feeling of brilliant outdoor light! I also love how you have allowed the light to saturate the upper areas of the subject so that the eye flows down to the darker and more defined areas….beautifully handled!

  • I couldn’t afford to pay someone to write a nicer comment Sandy. LOL Thank you so much as it really is a wonderful comment. You’re a nice friend and great RB buddy.

    I love them all…why final…they are wonderful Jim…

  • I didn’t mean to make it sound like this is the last Floral I’ll ever paint. You know from my past work I like to mix in up a bit. I set out to paint four in a row and that’s what I did. There will be more, I’m just ready to try some different things. Thanks Janis.
