15″×10″ watercolour using Winsor Newton paint tubes on Frabriano 140lb watercolour paper

With nets partly down he’s not far from where he intends to pull his nets for the day.

Buy it, I’m already well into my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments. (Well….the good ones anyway.)

Lovely work Jim. I like the ‘limited’ palette of colours. It makes the whole thing hang together beautifully. Have a couple of ’WOW’S’ from me too!!!!

  • You may not be aware of this, but I collect “Wow’s.” lol Thanks Lynda.

Love this Jim – I can smell the salt & the fresh fish.

  • Then you would be standing on the beach beside me and not on the boat. Shrimp boats usually don’t smell that good. lol Thanks for a really nice comment.
