A Different Version by Jim Phillips
Clear

Watercolour on watercolour paper
Original 16″ × 18″

Found a photo of a little girl and her dog so I made some creative changes when I painted to fit a different version of “Little Red Riding Hood.”

Buy it, I’m already well into my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments. (Well….the good ones anyway.)

This is so sweet! I love the interaction in this. So…..is this a nice wolf or a wicked one?

It’s very apparent from your portrayal, that the relationship between the two of them is a very loving one..beautifully rendered work JIm.

Fantastic! Love the twist on the story- the ‘wolf’ positivly adores her! Great portrayal.

  • Glad you got it. Thanks very much. Also thanks for favoring, I consider that a fine compliment.
