Buy it, I’m already well into my 60’s and if I’m going to be famous, well, I’m running out of time. I like to think my work has been influenced by the great impressionists, although my wife says it’s because I won’t go and get my eyes checked. At any rate, I do love to paint watercolour and acrylics and it’s a true wish of mine that you enjoy viewing my work. Go ahead and let me know what you think, I love to read your comments. (Well….the good ones anyway.)

Great artwork and great title Jim. Love the way you portray those fountains, which would have been fairly tricky!!

  • Lovely comment Lynda, sometimes right after reading one of your wonderful comments I actually feel like I might know what I’m doing…. but then I usually drop back in to reality after a few seconds….. LOL Thank you dear.

Beautiful impressionistic work, Jim. I really like the angle you painted of the Freedom Fountain.

  • This one and the plein aire version were both in the exhibition at the Arts Council in May. I set up on that little traffic island were the flag poles are to paint. Thanks Jennifer. Still doing alright? Shoot me a bubblemail later this week and let me know.

Oh very nice Jim, strong colours for watercolours, aren’t they?
The fountain is spectacular, you did such a nice job of it and I love the sky with all those clouds, it looks so natural!
Yes, you definitely know what you’re doing.

  • Geezzzz, I didn’t know a whole gaggle of ladies would react so intense to just some kidding around…..LOL
Thanks Colombe, you’re both a sweet and kind supporter. Always appreciate your very observant and knowledgeable comments.

LOL…love your reply to Lynda! Like you should ever doubt that you know what you are doing!
Evertime I see your work Jim, it inspires me to keep painting and drawing!
Just to let you know the piece I bought from you of my Grandson is now hanging in his home in Japan, he was deployed there to fly fighter jets and help protect that part of the world.

  • Music to my ears, and Susan(no joking here) I couldn’t be prouder than to have my artwork hanging in your brave grandson’s home in Japan. Thank you.

It’s all in the details brah’…..and you captured it so well….I’ve never been there but I can feel the emotion coming thru….

  • You can imagine living in a community that is 80% military (Marine Corps and Navy) now a fountain erected in their honor might go over successfully. By the way enjoyed the tributes you paid your dad on Father’s Day. YDM
