In this watercolor we’re not sure whether this is a game of Hide N’ Seek, a young boy plotting some mischief, or hiding because he’s already created some.

Another possibility: he has spied an adorable, shy garden creature playing in the grass and wants to watch it unobserved. OR he is practicing his lurking skills to prepare for a future career in private investigation. You can tell he’s a good boy, otherwise he’d have his hat on backwards.
