WHEN YOU ARE SHOOTING TOWARDS A BRIGHT LIGHT, TRY TO HIDE IT SOMEWAY. WITH THE DIGITAL DARKROOM, YOU CAN CLONE OVER THEM QUITE EASILY,,,AS YOU LEARNED WITH THE CAR,, THE EYE TENDS TO GO RIGHT TO THOSE TYPES OF THINGS. ALSO, EITHER IN THE CAMERA, WHICH ISN’T ALWAYS EASY, TRY TO MAKE SURE YOUR BACKGROUND IS EITHER HORIZONTALLY LEVEL, OR VERTICALLY PLUM, STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN. ESPECIALLY THINGS WITH TEXTURE, SOLID WALLS AND SUCH CAN BE WORKED WITH PRETTY EASY. BUT, WHAT MY INSTRUCTOR TOLD ME WAS THAT A GOOD IMAGE CAN BECOME A GREAT IMAGE WITH JUST THAT LITTLE BIT OF WORK. SO, BASICALLY, IF THE WALL BEHIND THESE TWO DIDN’T HAVE THAT BRIGHT LIGHT ON IT AND THE WALL WAS VERTICALLY PLUM, THIS IMAGE WOULD TAKE ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LOOK. TRY IT, I THINK YOU’LL LIKE THE RESULTS BETTER. GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU HAVE FUN LEARNING PHOTOGRAPHY AND POST PROCESSING. HAPPY HOLLIDAYS. BOB ;)

PS, I LOVE THE WAY HER RIGHT HAND LOOKS ALMOST TRANSPARRENT, SHE MUST HAVE BEEN REALLY TALKING WITH HER HANDS. LOL BOB ;)

  • Thanks, Bob. I’ll keep your advice in mind in the future.
