I wanted to be an artist. My father thought it was inadvisable. To prove that I had a left brain I became a pilot, but that world felt empty after a time. I left the potential for money to move to a rural island where i work for health insurance and the bills but have more time to follow the vagaries of my creative soul. I photograph, read vociferously, work in textile, fiber arts and surface design, knit, felt, and splash color with abandon in art journals and mixed media work. Life is good!
